This detailed overland flow assessment was a result of a proposed subdivision. Under the new BCC planning scheme 2014 it was required that this property be assessed for overland flow in order for council to consider the proposed new developments. This property was situated within a BCC identified overland flow path making it prone to flooding.
This project was completed with results enabling the client to move forward with their development plans. In order to reach these results the engineers at Civil and Water Design had to comply with BCC planning guidelines to reach habital floor levels and ensure that no neighbouring properties were affected by the proposed designs.
